Your Local Hostels

Check out the Washington DC Hostel, located right downtown at the corner of 11th & K Streets NW, only 5 blocks from the White House and 3 blocks north of Metro Center subway station. Or just hop the new DC Circulator bus from Union Station or Georgetown for $1: it stops right at the DC hostel. The Potomac Area Council is a part-owner of the Washington DC hostel.

The
Harpers Ferry Hostel is open for the 2007.  (After November 15, please call ahead and groups and individual hostellers during the late fall and winter months may be accommodated, depending on the dates.)  Please call 301-834-7652 or E-mail Harpersferryhostel to let us know you are coming, and if you plan to stay overnight. This relaxing lodge with a stone fireplace, kitchen, dormitory and private family rooms, is 1.5 miles from downtown Harpers Ferry, just uphill from the C&O Canal, overlooking the Potomac River on the Maryland side.

The Baltimore Hostel at 17 W. Mulberry Street is now open! Check Baltimore Hostel.  Or call: (410) 576-8880.

An affiliate hostel is also located in Virginia Beach: Angie's Guest House: http://www.angiescottage.com/.  And just 45 minutes north of Williamsburg, in a nature setting near the Chesapeake Bay, is another affiliate hostel in Urbanna, VA:

We would welcome ideas for hostels in locations such as Richmond, Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, Annapolis, Cumberland, Frederick, Ocean City, Rehoboth, and the Shenandoah Valley.
